about the founder
As a father of six, Jelani Memory understands the importance of having straightforward and difficult conversations with his kids. In 2018, Jelani created a children's book for his kids called 'A Kids Book About Racism'. Giving kids and adults the permission to discuss complex topics. What started as a small project is now over a dozen books with topics ranging from racism, anxiety, cancer, feminism, body image, and climate change.
